Nu-West was the first domestic style spanking publication and video’s I ever saw. It shocked me when I learned other people may have the same kink I have, and that product was available.
The founder, Ed Lee, influenced many others with his style and approach to spanking. Sadly, Ed passed early last year, and the state of Nu-West, well….let his wife and spanking companion Debra tell you in a moment. I reached out to her for an interview, because I love the company and I loved her video’s.

Sadly, the company that my late former husband created and devoted himself to, is in the hands of a completely inexperienced, non-scene individual. Despite the announcements that Ed (David) posted on the website in the months prior to his death, and my own efforts to carry forth his legacy, it is now painfully obvious that NWL will never be what it once was.
I have plenty to say about the 30 year history of NWL; how it evolved from one small darkroom in the garage to a full-fledged video production company; how David’s vision and determination allowed us to share with the world what so many yearned for. Our valued long-time customers became almost like family to us, and David was proud that he was instrumental in helping some of the earliest NWL models go on to achieve their own individual successes, even form their own companies.
Simply put…the Nu-West/LEDA that has been, is no more, and isn’t coming back. The decades of success borne from the dedicated efforts of a true leader in our scene have come to an end. If the legendary Ed Lee/Leon Dalman were alive to see this, he’d be furious and at the same time saddened that an employee he trusted and for whom he provided generously, has betrayed him in every possible way.
With that being said, I’m afraid I must withhold further comment due to ongoing litigation. You are, however, free to use any or all of what I’ve shared in this email. If you choose to do so, I’d appreciate seeing the copy beforehand.

I placed an order for 4 dvd’s last June and never got them. Sent several emails and even called the phone number that was on my credit card statement and nothing. My credit card company couldn’t do anything because after 60 days you can’t file a claim. Knew that Ed had passed but did not know about about the status of the company, extremely pissed off about getting ripped off $109.00!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully things work out in your favor Debra, been a Nu West customer since since 1990 and it’s a shame that things are at this point. Best of luck in the future!

Having been a nuwest fan for 15 years i am really glad to reply to your comment. Between 2009 and 2012, I used to chat by email with Dave (Ed) as he liked customers reviews and general exchanges about life overseas. I never discussed specifically about the FBW series with him, but we mentioned the whipping videos a couple of times. He wrote that the whip he used “sting but do not cut the skin, and leaves red welts that go away in 3 weeks”. So i don’t know if you are referring in you comment to all the FCV and FBW videos, or just the FBW ones.
While i guessed that the FBW’s blood was fake, the marks, sounds and reactions were so realistic either in most of FBW and FCV that i would think that some were pretty real. Anyway even with foam rubber, that might be a kind of whipping in a way (and still hurt a little bit)
Still i miss him very much.

It was early in the relationship with my ex that he showed me movies of you, which proved to be a life changing experience for me. Sorry to hear of your loss. One thing that I wondered is why no bullwhip videos were made. You should have released more bullwhip vidoes to stem the competition from taking your clients albeit coinciding with a change in management. I would be very interested to hear if you have any plans for bullwhips in any future video projects
I just bought a video at Nu-west and am unable to download it. I sent literally 5 messages to BOTH gmail accounts that are “TECH HELP” for the website.
NO RESPONSE. I’m seriously pissed off. I am glad to know it’s not Debra running the company because whoever has the company now has absolutely ruined it. And is clearly just cashing the checks of what is already made and coming in.
That is one of the biggest spanko brands of all time. If it had been used properly, could’ve been re-vamped into something very special.

Yes, hearing this makes me very sad. Ed/Leon was a very trust worthy and honourable person. I had done a video with them with Vanna and 3 other leda ladies and another one in New York with, I think it was with a lady by the name of Victoria.
Ed and Debra had a great relationship. I had sent a letter of condolence to Debra bur never received a reply. Now, I know why.
I totally support Debra and am sad to hear that some one else is controlling that great site and destroying it. Debra should be getting all the Royalty from what her husband created.
Do you have any ideas who that is and what we can do.

I just found a 1998 video , which led me to this page. I have seen a video several times titled 2 Women whipped. The second of the whipping was a young lady named Sidney. NWL as it was when my husband (Ed Lee) was alive, no longer exists. After he died in 2013, ownership shifted to a young man named Dustin Deon, who calls himself either Ed Lee or Dustin Lee. He’s a fraud, and although he maintains a website, he cannot legally sell any of the videos that were made while Ed was still alive. There are no model releases on file, as required by federal law, so they aren’t allowed to be legally distributed. You can take your chances by dealing with him, but to this very day, I still hear from fans who paid good money for video downloads but didn’t get what they paid for. Sorry.
WHAT HAPPENED TO KATIE?
I have no idea. We stopped using her as a model years before Ed passed away. Although cute and popular in her day, she wasn’t actually in the CP scene, so everything she did as a submissive was faked. Fake paddles, fake hairbrushes, fake whips… all of it. I couldn’t even give her a simple hand spanking without her pitching a fit. Why use someone who wasn’t actually INTO what we are, when there were many others who were?
